Riding at the Stables

• Gooseham Barton is a licensed riding stables. It was established in 1974 and is approved by the British Horse Society.

• Around 35 horses and ponies are kept on the farm, most are used for riding, others being mainly old faithfuls' enjoying their retirement.

• The horses and ponies range in size from approximately 11hh to 17hh, and we cater for everyone from the complete beginner to the experienced rider.

• Mounts are allocated to suit size and riding ability.

• All rides are escorted by our experienced and friendly staff, who will make your riding as varied and interesting as possible.

• Our gentle ponies are ideal for small children wishing to take part in our 1/2 hour leading rein rides around the farm.

• Horse riding is availble either English or Western style.

• Hats and boots for children and adults are provided. If you wish to use your own boots please make sure they have a heel.

Horse Riding Tariff:

Disounted Riding charges for guests for 2008:
	£18 per hour
	£10 per 1/2 hour
	£36 per 2hours
Western Style Riding:	£3 extra per ride

All prices include VAT at 17.5%
